Lately, together with two dear friends, we are looking for different locations with an "abandoned" mood.
The first one we visited was Greenland - Città Satellite, located just outside Milan, it was an old funfair.
Its birth dates is back to 1964, coinciding with the opening of Gardaland, and was closed in 2002.
It was one of the first non-itinerant amusement parks built in Italy but, unfortunately, after a few decades of success due to legal disputes and poor economic resources ... the park closed definitively.
Today you can see what remains of the old park and I must admit that the atmosphere is very strange, surreal and post-apocalyptic.
Ultimamente, insieme a due cari amici, stiamo girando alla ricerca di location diverse e dal mood "abbandonato".
La prima che abbiamo visitato è stata Greenland - Città Satellite,situato alle porte di Milano, era un vecchio Luna Park.
La sua nascita risale al 1964, in concomitanza con l'apertura di Gardaland, ed è stato chiuso nel 2002.
E' stato uno dei primi Luna Park non itineranti realizzati in Italia ma, purtroppo, dopo alcuni decenni di successo a causa di dispute legali e risorse economiche scarse...il parco ha chiuso definitivamente.
Ad oggi si può vedere ciò che resta del vecchio parco e devo ammettere che l'atmosfera è davvero molto strana, surreale e post apocalittica.
