Infinities: Nike "Air Huarache" Sneakers.

These are the new Nike "Huarache", one of the most controversial models of the famous brand, these sneakers will either love or hate. 
Probably the only model in the Nike house that has a dense array of Fans and equal dense array of Haters. 
Personally since I saw them, I immediately wanted so i decided to take them on one of the most famous and with a super wide range english e-commerce: Infinities. 
The history of these shoes is really very complex and it starts when the historic designer, Tinker Hatfield (and his team), began designing Huarache.  
Inspired by the boots used for water-skiing, the Huarache were created with a kind of "sock" made of neoprene that manages to perfectly wrap the foot and ankle and this system was called "Dynamic Fit". 
Built and delivered the first prototype, the sell order was reached only 5,000 units but to begin manufacturing the official minimum order was 100,000 units. 
The Huarache were canceled from official production. 
The turn-up occurred when an employee from marketing (convinced of the potential of these sneakers) decided to produce 5,000 units and sell them during the New York Marathon. 
This very dangerous move proved extremely successful, people immediately falls in love with the model, comfort and above all the fit and lightness of these sneakers. 
In less than a week the order was implemented to 250,000 units and the following year the world order came to more than 500,000 units. 
The official launch took place in 1991 and since then the Nike "Huarache" have been modified, making them more contemporary but what remains true is the '90 mood that I like so much. 
I tested for several days and their comfort is shocking, thanks to the high and well-cushioned sole, each step becomes easier and more enjoyable but what amazed me the most is the immense weight of these sneakers.

Queste sono le nuove Nike modello "Huarache", uno dei modelli più controversi del famoso brand, queste sneakers si amano o si odiano.
Forse l'unico modello in casa Nike che ha una fitta schiera di Fans ed una uguale fitta schiera di Haters.
Io, fin da quando le ho viste, le ho subito volute così ho deciso di prenderle su uno degli e-commerce inglesi più assortiti e conosciuti: Infinities.
La storia di queste scarpe è davvero molto complessa ed inizia quando lo storico Designer, Tinker Hatfield (insieme al suo team), cominciò la progettazione delle Huarache.
Inizialmente inspirato dagli scarponcini usati per il water-skiing, le Huarache furono create con una specie di "calza" in neoprene che riesce ad avvolgere perfettamente il piede e la caviglia e questo sistema fu chiamato "Dynamic Fit".
Costruito e distribuito il primo prototipo, l'ordine di vendita raggiunto fu di solo 5.000 unità ma per dare inizio alla fabbricazione ufficiale l'ordine minimo era di ben 100.000 unità.
Le Huarache furono cancellate e messe in cantina.
La risvolta avvenne quando, un dipendente dall'area marketing (convinto delle potenzialità di queste sneakers) decise di produrre 5.000 unità e venderle durante la Maratona di New York.
Questa mossa molto pericolosa risultò estremamente vincente, la gente s'innamorà immediatamente del modello, della comodità ma soprattutto della vestibilità e leggerezza di queste sneakers.
In meno di una settimana l'ordine fu implementato di 250.000 unità e l'anno successivo l'ordine mondiale arrivò a più di 500.000 unità.
Il lancio ufficiale avvenne nel 1991 e da quel momento le Nike "Huarache" sono stato modificate, rendendole più contemporanee ma ciò che resta fedele è la linea estreamamente anni 90 che a me piace da impazzire.
Io le ho testate per diversi giorni e la loro comodità è sconvolgente, grazie alla suola alta e ben ammortizzata, ogni passo diventa più semplice e piacevole ma ciò che mi ha stupito maggiormente è l'immensa leggerezza di queste sneakers.
