Focus on: Joomy Lim Jewellery

Il Brand Joomy Lim nasce nel 2009 ma già possiede un'ottima reputazione nel mondo dei gioielli. Il cuore e la mente del marchio sono Joomy Lim e suo marito Xavier Ricolfi, ma l'avventura inizia grazie a lei ed il suo hobby.
Da diversi anni Joomy disegnava gioielli per se stessa e per i suoi amici fino al giorno in cui un proprietario di un noto store le ha chiesto dove avesse acquistato gli orecchini che indossava e dopo un minuto Lim aveva già un grande ordine.
Il marito francese è un Designer industriale ed è entrato nel mondo della gioilleria grazie alla moglie consigliandole nuovi e tecnlogici materiali con cui costruire i gioielli.

The Brand Joomy Lim was born in 2009 but already has an excellent reputation in the world of jewellery. The heart and mind of the label are Joomy  Lim and her husband Xavier Ricolfi, but the adventure begins with her and her hobby. 
For several years Joomy designing jewellery for herself and for her friends until the day when an buyer of a famous store asked her where she bought the earrings she wore a minute after Lim had a big order. 
Her husband is a French industrial designer and has entered the world of jewellery thanks to his wife and recommends new tecnlogici materials used to construct jewellery.

La "Joomy Lim" Jewellery venne presentata ad una speciale fiera, la "Rendez-Vous", a New York ed a Parigi, da quel momento in poi il Brand fu ingaggiato da store di altissimo livello come i magazzini Bergdorf Goodman e l'Opening Ceremony. La stessa Lim afferma "Essere accettati da Stores di altissimo livello è come avere il MIGLIOR Pr del mondo. E' un'ottima vetrina per il nostro Brand e ancora siamo contattati da moltissimi buyers di altri grandi magazzini in tutto il mondo".
Per questo motivo sono davvero molto selettivi nello sceglieri gli Stores che potranno vendere le loro creazioni. In questo momento le loro creazioni si possono trovare soltanto a New York, Dubai, Londra, Honk Hong, Seoul, Tokyo, Las Vegas e nello Stores On Line.

The "Lim Joomy" Jewellery was presented to a special exhibition, the "Rendez-Vous" in New York and Paris, then on the Brand store was accepted by top-level department stores such as Bergdorf Goodman and Opening Ceremony. Lim said the same " Being carried by some of these high-profile stores is like working with the BEST PR firm. It’s great exposure for our brand and we are now being approached by some of the buyers from other amazing stores worldwide".
For this reason they are very selective chossing the Stores who will sell their creations. At this time their creations can be found only in New York, Dubai, London, Hong Kong, Seoul, Tokyo, Las Vegas and in the Stores On Line.

I giovani Designer seguono appassionatamente il mondo della Moda e Lim afferma che le piacerebbe moltissimo veder sfilare i suoi gioielli nelle passerelle di Christopher Kane, Alexander Wang e Proenza Shouler, tutti Designer che ammira e dei quali acquista moltissimi capi.
Entrambi traggono ispirazione da qualsiasi cosa, arte, musica, film, architettura e tutto ciò che li circonda quotidianamente.
Per la loro collezione F/W 11 hanno tratto moltissima ispirazione dal loro viaggio a Parigi e Xavier è riuscito ad inserire una nuova lavorazione del Titanio all'interno dei gioielli.

Young Designer passionately follow the world of fashion and Lim said that she would love to see her jewelry in the catwalks of Christopher Kane, Alexander Wang and Proenza Shouler, all designer she admires and buys a lot of items. 
Both draw inspiration from anything, art, music, film, architecture and everything that surrounds them daily. 
For their collection F/W 11 they took inspiration from their trip to Paris and Xavier introduced a high-tech process of titanium-coating for jewellery.
